Renshi Ludwik Orthwein 6 Dan Okinawan Kempo

He practicado artes marciales desde 1988:

Conocí a Hanshi Piotr Ciećwierz en 1998 gracias a Renshi Marek Tuszyński, con quienhabíaentrenadopreviamente. Organizamos entrenamientos regulares, seminarios y campamentos con Hanshi Ciećwierz y sus alumnos de EE. UU. Desarrollamos sólidas bases organizativas y un grupo de instructores para los centros actuales de IOKF, que fue mi mayor éxito y fuente de satisfacción. Durante este tiempo, casi 20 personas obtuvieron rangos de maestro como mis estudiantes directos o indirectos.

El mayor logro de PFRT fuellevar a Taika Oyata a Polonia en 2011 y organizar un seminario de formación con él en Varsovia. Durante este seminario, me examiné para Godan ante Taika y recibí el certificado de Shin Shu Ho, otorgado exclusivamente al círculo más cercano de estudiantes de Taika con rango de Godan o superior. Aunque nunca tuve la oportunidad de estar en el círculo más cercano de Taika, este certificado simbolizó mi esperanza de cultivar y desarrollar su arte en Polonia y Europa. Es el único certificado de este tipo en Europa y uno de los últimos que Taika entregó antes de su fallecimiento.

Dirigir el club:
Fundé el Kakurei Bushi Dojo en Varsovia, que dirigí durante muchos años en varios lugares. Bajo un nuevo nombre, el dojo fue entregado a mi alumno, Sensei Krzysztof Młynarski (4.º Dan), que sigue desarrollándolo de forma independiente. I met Hanshi Piotr Ciećwierz in 1998 thanks to Renshi Marek Tuszyński, with whom I had trained before. During an intimate three-person training session, Hanshi demonstrated several techniques on me, which opened my eyes to how martial arts could be understood. He combined two paths that I had thought were opposites. My experience in Chinese Kung Fu, rooted in softer styles, didn't seem to have anything in common with Karate or Ju-jitsu. However, it turned out that smooth, soft, and loose Chinese movements could transition into strong, hard techniques, while striking techniques from Kung Fu or Karate could seamlessly connect with joint locks. This discovery was a turning point in my life, and from then on, only Ryute Taika Oyata mattered to me.

The beginning was challenging since no one nearby could teach me. Along with Renshi Tuszyński, we learned from video cassettes where Taika demonstrated kata and applications. We trained at 6 a.m. in the park, and Hanshi visited Poland only once a year. Our effort paid off, and since 2000, we have regularly attended seminars and training in the USA. In 2001, I met Taika Oyata and had the honor of testing for Shodan under him. In subsequent years, I participated in seminars with Taika Oyata, organized by Hanshi Ciećwierz.

In 2001, I co-founded the Polish Federation of Ryute, where I was president (with a two-year break) until 2014. We organized regular training sessions, seminars, and camps with Hanshi Ciećwierz and his students from the USA. We developed strong organizational foundations and an instructor base for the current IOKF centers, which was my greatest success and source of satisfaction. Nearly 20 people earned master ranks as my direct or indirect students during this time.

The crowning achievement of the PFRT was bringing Taika Oyata to Poland in 2011 and holding a training seminar with him in Warsaw. During this seminar, I tested for Godan under Taika and received the Shin Shu Ho certificate, given exclusively to Taika's closest circle of students holding the Godan rank or higher. Although I never had the chance to be in Taika's closest circle, this certificate symbolized my hope for cultivating and developing his art in Poland and Europe. It is the only certificate of its kind in Europe and one of the last that Taika awarded before his passing.

Running the Club:
I founded the Kakurei Bushi Dojo in Warsaw, which I led for many years at various locations. Under a new name, the dojo was handed over to my student, Sensei Krzysztof Młynarski (4th Dan), who continues its development independently. Meanwhile, I focused solely on training instructors and other centers in Poland.

I currently live in Tenerife, where I offer individual and instructor training as Frantic Kempo Tenerife.
